Flower crowns made with artificial flowers. These can stand up quite well. I made one for myself many years ago and I still wear it. Generally if there is a more bare spot, that is meant to be the back, but it's easy to gently stretch the crown so that a different grouping is more comfortably at the front. Pulling on the flowers should not pull them from the floral tape but may pull them off the stem. They can be pressed back into place, but I personally have not had a problem with this. The base is galvanized steel wire wrapped in floral tape.
